JWA Transportation Group

Wayne Frazier has been in the transportation industry since 1993 as a company driver. In 1996 as an owner operator he leased on at Total Transportation in Bay City MI. As part of our growth in the industry, we began investing and owning in our own as well as other trucking companies. In July of 2000, we opened J & W Transportation of Mid-Michigan LLC. J & W currently hauls freight in conjunction with WL Frazier Trucking. With a large number of power units transporting freight in 53ft vans, we are mainly Mid-West, yet we have 48 states and Canada carrier. Hauling "General Commodities" constitutes the main focus of our business, while we still devote service to the automotive sector.

In January 2006, W.L. Frazier Trucking is a Central Michigan based trucking company. We are a certified MBE with the Michigan Minority Business Development Council (W-8842-7-866) as well as having reciprocal agreements with the Wisconsin ( #W42006 Central Illinois, Iowa and Wisconsin), and Minnesota ( #200649 Minnesota and North Dakota ,South Dakota, Nebraska,) councils. We currently have a pool of 50 company owned power units with twenty six 53ft dry vans. Also there are 44 other conveyances, consisting of drops, flats , and steps. We have a 10 owner operators in which 7 of them are in our van division, the other 3 in our flat beds. We have a core of 22 drivers that are certified “specialized” haulers. As an agent for Great Wide Dallas Mavis, we have access to more trailers, specialized trailers, and power units should the need arise. We are ISO certified and have a DOT rating of “satisfactory”. A.T.G. is our logistics company. It's inception and further development will allow us to be a complete transportation service for all of our customers shipping needs. We will strive to grow as the customers needs grow, giving them a "Transportation Partner" so they can focus on their business at hand.

As part of our continued growth, in June 2006 these three companies came together to form the JWA Transportation Group. We are committed to providing excellent customer service with on time delivery as the defining factor. While we pride ourselves in our small company roots, we remain dedicated to growth in our industry to better serve our customers.

As of October 2006, Wayne Frazier bought C&J Transportation of Central Michigan, Expanding His horizon even farther with no intentions of slowing down.
